Curzon Phoneroom Operator
Role description:
Curzon Cinemas is London’s leading art-house chain with six venues across the capital in Soho, Mayfair, Chelsea, Richmond, the Renoir Cinema and hmvcurzon Wimbledon.
The Curzon booking and information line, based at Curzon Soho, provides customers with general information on the current and upcoming film programme of all six Curzon sites, helping customers book tickets, providing information on Curzon memberships, and support for our online film streaming service, Curzon On Demand. Phoneroom staff also have to liaise with cinema managers, the membership team and head office staff in order to successfully deal with a number of customer queries.
We are currently seeking a phoneroom operative for an immediate start on a full-time basis: averaging 40 hrs/week, 4 or 5 days out of 7. Our hours of operation are 10am - 8pm Mon-Sat, 10am - 7pm Sun, and the shift pattern is generally an 8 or 10 hour shift each day.
The appropriate candidate must be confident on the phone, able to deliver exceptional customer service with a high level of accuracy in written and spoken English. The candidate will preferably have relevant experience with handling customer queries in an often busy call environment, handling payments by credit/debit card quickly and efficiently, and a prior knowledge of Curzon Cinemas and its film programme. All training will be provided.
Although we do seek to establish a regular shift pattern, the candidate would need to be flexible in regards to their availability, due to the nature of the job and varying busy or quiet periods throughout the year, as well as covering shifts for staff holiday or absence.
