No. A Curzon Cineaste or Auteur membership must be purchased in order to become a member of Curzon Cinemas and is not the same as having a

I have renewed my Cineaste or Auteur membership over the phone/online/box office but still haven’t received my card?It takes between 7-10 working days for our membership team to process renewals, please be patient – if you still haven’t received your membership card after 7-10 working days please

Can I buy a membership as a gift?
Yes, please tell the member of staff when purchasing that it is a gift. Gift memberships cannot be purchased online.

How much discount do I receive? How much will I save?You will receive 15% off all cinema tickets. You will also receive 15% off DVDs, Blu-rays, books, magazines*, Curzon snacks and bar items (including alcohol) at our cinemas.
The discount applies to two people per membership card.

How many times do I have to come to the cinema to cover the cost of my membership?For the Cineaste membership at £50 per year, you have to visit approximately nine times* on average to recoup the membership charge.
*This is based on peak time ticket prices.This includes the price of the two free tickets you get with the membership and the discount that applies to the guest.
These figures change if you go to different cinemas with a different pricing structure.
Can I bring a guest?As a member you get two tickets per visit as the discounted membership price.

What qualifies me to a Concessionary Curzon Membership?
Full time student, Senior citizen (and retired), unemployed and registered disabled. You must provide proof of concessionary status when picking up tickets and buying a membership.
What are the advantages?
As a concession the membership price is £40 rather than £50. You get discount on all tickets at any time.
Do I get a discount for special events and previews?
Members always pay the cheapest price. We have different prices depending on the type of event and where it is. The best thing to do is to check this website.
How long do my free tickets last for?
The tickets last for one year of valid membership, they are not transferable after your membership expires or is up for renewal.
Can I use my Curzon membership at hmvcurzon cinemas?
Yes but you must take your membership card with you when buying tickets at the box office.
Can I use my two complimentary tickets at hmvcurzon cinemas?
Yes you can.
Where / when can I use my free tickets?
You can use your free tickets at any Curzon cinema at any time within the year’s membership. The tickets apply to regular film screenings only, and are cannot be used for special screenings, such as Q&A sessions or Operas.

£950 per annum, you have to attend only nine prestige events for your membership price to be covered.

Do I have to always attend the screening I have booked tickets for?
Yes, the Auteur membership entitles the Auteur and guest to two tickets, the membership cannot be used by others apart from you.
Can I use my Auteur membership at hmvcurzon Wimbledon? Is it free?
Yes, you can make the most of your membership at hmvcurzon Wimbledon and can use two free tickets as usual.
