NEW RELEASES Invictus, The Island
Clint Eastwood’s Invictus opens at Mayfair and Wimbledon. Based on Nelson Mandela’s campaign for South Africa to win the Rugby World Cup, it stars Oscar nominated Morgan Freeman and Matt Damon. At Renoir is Pavel Lounguine’s The Island, “an austere drama with a mystical aura… [about] a monk tormented by a murder he committed 30 years earlier.” 4 stars (The Times).
