Over the years, Curzon has seen the best and the boldest of filmmaking talent present and discuss their films, with directors such as Werner Herzog, Gus Van Sant, Agnes Varda, Todd Haynes, Mike Leigh, Ken Loach, Andrea Arnold and Park Chan-Wook to name a few. We have also welcomed acting superstars including Ryan Gosling, Julianne Moore, Viggo Mortensen, Mickey Rourke, Isabelle Huppert and Tilda Swinton to discuss their work.
To celebrate sixty years of the Foreign Language Oscar award, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) and Curzon Cinemas are partnering to present a selection of films that have won the prestigious award.

Curzon Soho's documentary strand, screening the best documentaries from around the world. Get special insight with Q&As and panel discussions.
Enthusiasm is a bold new strand of programming at Curzon Soho dedicated to 35mm and 16mm celluloid exhibition. We will always endeavour to screen a short film of some relevance prior to the feature presentation - unless the main film is really long (which, given our somewhat cinephiliac leanings, is often a distinct possibility).
Presented by Telefilm Canada in partnership with the High Commission of Canada and with the support of the Quebec Government Office in London, Canada Now 2017 is the inaugural showcase of New Canadian Cinema in London, hosted at London’s premiere independent cinema the Curzon Soho.
Canada Now will present seven outstanding new pieces of filmmaking alongside a couple of repertory classics and curios over one invigorating weekend, filled with live talent and filmmaker Q&As.
